Aloha Sunday
, an important transition date on Trinity’s calendar, is scheduled for September 13.

The transition day was given the name “Aloha Sunday” since “aloha” is the Polynesian word for both greeting and farewell, and “Aloha Sunday” is a time for saying “hello” to the new program year and “good-bye” to the summer.

A time of contemplative silence will be offered each Tuesday, beginning September 15, from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. in Room 210.  The time each week will begin with a brief reading, such as a psalm or a poem, after which participants will sit together in silence for 20 minutes.  No experience is required!  Please contact The Reverend Stacy Stringer (stacy.stringer@trinitychurchhouston.net) if you have questions about contemplative silence or about this weekly offering.
