Trinity Church Endowment
Trinity Church
Endowment was established in 1956 by six far-sighted parishioners who saw the need for Trinity to have a financial base. In the 53 years of its existence, through good times and times of need, it has provided strong support to Trinity's many programs. In 2008, Trinity's Endowment provided about 15% of Trinity's operation budget. In 2009, the Endowment will provide $250,000 towards Trinity’s purchase of the Bering House property. This purchase results in Trinity owning the entire city block.
Contributions to Trinity Church Endowment can be in the form of money, stocks, or bonds. They can be made in memory of someone, in honor of a person, for congratulations, in appreciation for a kindness, or in thanksgiving for one of God's blessings. There are envelopes in the pews for gifts which can be placed in the alms basins. Gifts can also be mailed to the Church office. All contributions are acknowledged, both to the contributor and to the family of those memorized or other appropriate person. Names are also added to a special book kept in the rear of the Church.
Please join with so many past and present members and friends of Trinity and support its Endowment! It is important to understand that gifts to Trinity Church Endowment become perpetual support for Trinity, as a gift now is also a gift to future generations. Thank-you for your generosity!
