Gordon Moore Memorial Window
Creation of Houston artist Kim Clark Renteria, who spent many hours with the friends and family of Gordon Moore in designing the window. Her understanding and inspired response to the vision for the project is indeed a memorial to someone beloved by the people of Trinity Church.

Morrow Chapel - Right Side Windows
Grace Window
The left window represents the Grace of God. The two hands balancing the globe are made of two-way mirrors so we can see ourselves and those beyond (much like the hands in the Diversity panel across the room). This is meant to address the Grace of compassion, the essence of our Christian faith. The grid in the sphere is meant to represent the many different peoples who are all part of the same connection in God’s diverse world. The black and white glass is meant to represent humanity. The flowing green and turquoise glass is meant to represent the lushness of the human spirit, rooted in the Holy Spirit of God.
There are two plates at the top by the cross which represent the Grace of a Holy Union.

Baptism Window
The center window represents Baptism, the sacrament of the initiation into the communion of faith. The Lamb when carrying a flag is an age-old symbol of Baptism. The flowing water surrounding The Lamb of God, along with the rings of water that ripple out from a drop of water, also represent Baptism. This part of the image reminds us especially of the children of Trinity Church.
The scallop with three drops of water in the central part of the window is another ancient Christian symbol of Baptism.

Communion Window
The right window represents the Holy Eucharist or the Holy Communion. There is a crystal Chalice with a Host placed directly under the cross. In the Chalice there are grapes, representing the wine of the Eucharist.
The cross in the form of an anchor symbolizes Hope. There are three white Hosts in the lower part of the window symbolically representing the Trinity.
All of the beautiful stain glass windows in the Morrow Chapel were designed by Kim Renteria. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of Denver, is the founder and owner of Lighthouse Glass in Houston. Some of her applications include the Baker Institute at Rice University; Temple Emanu El; the Chapel at St. Joseph's Hospital; and the Chapel at Christus St. Catherine Health and Wellness Center.
